About This Role
- Lead development and delivery of secure, scalable Java backend microservices using Spring Boot, focusing on high-quality production code and operational stability.
- Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted software engineering tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes, while establishing validation standards and promoting reuse.
- Lead technical evaluations with vendors and internal teams, and identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to improve software system stability.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java + Spring Boot backend development and microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of DevOps fundamentals including Git and Jenkins CI/CD tools; hands-on AWS experience in building/deploying cloud-native services with understanding of cloud security.
- Experience using approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, security, and engineering workflow integration.
