About This Role
- Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives and develop engineering standards and best practices.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document enterprise-scale software solutions with measurable quality and productivity improvements.
- Lead projects and teams, mentor peers, and communicate complex architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience including leadership in design and delivery of enterprise applications.
- 4+ years hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring, microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, and messaging technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, Solace).
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, MCA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience required: 14-20 years relevant in Prime Brokerage Technology domain.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in distributed systems with strong knowledge of concurrency, scalability, resilience, and performance engineering.
- Hands-on expertise in full stack development including modern React (JavaScript/TypeScript), design patterns, automated testing, DevOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with capital markets, investment banking, generative AI integration, and capital markets technologies preferred.
