About This Role
- Lead design, development, and maintenance of backend Java/J2EE systems using Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices, and REST APIs for high-volume payment platforms.
- Drive technical leadership activities including architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring developers, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable application delivery.
- Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions and support production deployments and performance optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of Java/J2EE development experience with at least 2 years in a technical lead role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL database experience (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
- Experience or domain knowledge in Digital Payments, Mobile Wallets, FinTech, Banking, or Telecom Financial Services is highly preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical lead capable of managing enterprise-scale payment or financial services backend platforms.
- Strong background in microservices architecture, secure coding practices, and performance tuning for high-volume transaction systems.
- Familiarity with payment domain technologies such as Mobile Wallets, Merchant Payments, QR Payments, eKYC, and related digital financial services.
