About This Role
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software for enhancements and new semiconductor products.
- Implement new customer requirements and maintain existing application codebase, ensuring hardware-software compatibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally visit customer sites (travel less than 10%).
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of experience OR an advanced degree with no prior experience OR equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Software design and programming, including Design Patterns and Finite State Machines.
- Familiarity with multithreading and communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART.
- Graduate eligible role; travel requirement less than 10%.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in embedded or hardware-software interfacing software development, especially in semiconductor equipment domain.
- Capable of independently designing software with strong understanding of OOD and multithreading.
- Comfortable working in a centralized software engineering team collaborating cross-functionally with hardware and other engineering disciplines.
