About This Role
- Lead continuous improvement and modernization of Python-based test automation frameworks, including frontend Playwright/TypeScript integration.
- Optimize test execution performance, reliability, and CI/CD integration to enhance automation effectiveness and speed.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, establishing coding standards and framework development practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software engineering or test automation experience with substantial ownership of automation frameworks.
- Strong hands-on Python programming skills including designing, debugging, profiling, and refactoring complex code.
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript for frontend automation or equivalent expertise able to contribute quickly.
- Hybrid work model based in Ahmedabad/GiftCity requiring 3 days in-office per week; location requirement explicit.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced individual contributor with proven ability to design and evolve complex, reusable automation frameworks.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, algorithms, and test automation across backend, API, and frontend.
- Background in complex, high-throughput, or financial technology systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
