About This Role
- Perform operational security tasks including performance and availability monitoring, log monitoring, and security incident detection and response.
- Administer and maintain security tools including lifecycle management, patching, and tuning for infrastructure supporting production and development environments.
- Investigate and resolve escalated security incidents, facilitate escalations, document best practices, and support service delivery adherence to SLAs in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
- Moderate level experience in security technologies (Firewall, IPS, IDS, Proxy, EDR, SOAR, etc.) and SOC/CSIRT operations including incident handling end-to-end.
- Knowledge of networking, Linux, security concepts, and log collection mechanisms (Syslog, log files, DB API).
- Workplace: On-site. Work Experience Required: Moderate level experience as described above.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working on rotational shifts in a 24/7 security operations environment handling escalations and stakeholder communications.
- Strong operational knowledge of various security tools and security architecture with demonstrated incident response and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Capable of supporting security tool administration, tuning, automation identification, and documentation for continuous service improvement.
