About This Role
- Manage and execute business continuity and disaster recovery processes including planning, risk assessments (BIAs), and recovery plan updates.
- Schedule and lead meetings focused on technology resilience architecture and program compliance for disaster recovery.
- Conduct annual exercises to ensure preparedness and track related risk issues without on-call duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Understanding of technology infrastructure including applications, middleware, databases, storage, mainframe, distributed systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), cloud, containers (Kubernetes/Docker), and networks.
- Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning and risk assessments.
- Work Experience Required: At least 8 years (implied by title).
- Familiarity with business continuity tools such as Archer, Fusion, LDRPS, ServiceNow BCM or related platforms is beneficial but not strictly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically proficient individual who can fluently discuss varied architectures including cloud and container technologies.
- Candidate who can effectively coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings and projects related to BC/DR.
- Experience or knowledge of cloud applications (AWS, Azure) and ServiceNow is advantageous.
