About This Role
- Manage operational security tasks including performance monitoring, log monitoring, incident detection and response, and content tuning for security tools.
- Administer and perform lifecycle management of security tools; handle escalated threats and suspicious activities across infrastructure supporting production and development environments.
- Work within a 24/7 rotational shift team, collaborating on platform engineering, incident handling, and automation initiatives to support the security incident response function.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
- Moderate experience in security technologies such as Firewall, IPS, IDS, Proxy and in SOC/CSIRT operations including end-to-end incident handling.
- Experience configuring and managing security controls including Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, Proxy, SOAR, and related security tools.
- On-site work location requirement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in operational security monitoring and incident response within enterprise environments using SIEM and security tools.
- Demonstrates practical skills in security engineering and troubleshooting with end-user support and remote diagnostics.
- Able to work effectively in a 24/7 shift environment, coordinating with platform engineering teams and stakeholder communications.
