About This Role
- Own continuous modernization and technical direction of automation test frameworks and architecture.
- Develop high-quality Python backend automation and maintain Playwright/TypeScript frontend testing integration.
- Lead improvements in test performance, reliability, CI/CD integration, and mentor engineering team on framework standards.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering or test automation experience, including substantial ownership of automation frameworks.
- Strong hands-on Python programming skills with experience in framework design, debugging, profiling, and refactoring.
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript for frontend end-to-end automation or equivalent depth for quick contribution.
- Work Experience Required: 8+ years relevant experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and evolving reusable automation frameworks used by multiple teams.
- Skilled at improving large regression suites through performance profiling, flakiness reduction, and test selection.
- Demonstrates strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to investigate complex failures across application, test code, and environments.
