About This Role
- Lead and independently manage escalated security investigations and threat hunting across multiple security telemetry domains including identity, endpoint, email, network, vulnerability, and cloud.
- Improve detection capabilities through query writing and tuning, develop operational playbooks, and recommend containment and remediation actions based on evidence.
- Mentor junior SOC analysts and coordinate with various technical and business stakeholders to mature SOC investigation and detection practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, threat detection, security engineering, or related operational security roles.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Sophos or comparable EDR, Tenable or similar vulnerability platforms, and security monitoring tools.
- Intermediate to advanced KQL skills and working knowledge of AWS or hybrid-cloud security monitoring platforms.
