About This Role
- Own automation of testing for web applications and Web APIs using open-source tools like Selenium and Python.
- Develop detailed test plans, execute automation scripts, identify bugs, and perform regression testing to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments to improve testing processes, monitor debugging outcomes, and stay updated on new testing strategies and tools including Docker and containers.
Minimum Requirements
- 9 to 12 years total work experience with minimum 3+ years specifically in automation testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree is desirable.
- Proven experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, Python and knowledge of Pycharm.
- Onsite work requirement primarily from an HPE office in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in end-to-end software quality assurance within Agile/Scrum teams, able to write comprehensive test plans covering both white box and black box testing.
- Skilled in using automation tools and scripting languages alongside solid SQL knowledge to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
- Capable of transforming software testing processes with a focus on digital experience, automation, and tooling such as Docker containers for scalable testing environments.
