About This Role
- Design, develop, and operate scalable distributed software components and services for OCI’s bare metal and GPU compute infrastructure automation.
- Develop tooling for hardware bring-up, platform lifecycle management, firmware orchestration, and automate server provisioning, configuration, security, and validation.
- Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, Linux OS, and hardware integration, collaborating with teams to launch and maintain multi-architecture platforms reliably at scale.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–8+ years of software development experience with large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java or C++, plus Python or scripting experience.
- Experience or exposure to Linux operating systems concepts, troubleshooting, and strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).
- Work Experience Required: 3–8+ years in relevant software development roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in engineering distributed compute infrastructure services with multi-architecture hardware (AMD, Intel, Arm, NVIDIA).
- Demonstrated ability to operate, debug, and improve complex distributed systems spanning software, OS, and hardware boundaries.
- Skilled in full-stack development from orchestration layers through Linux systems and hardware interaction with a focus on service reliability and operational efficiency.
