About This Role
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications leveraging LLMs, Agentic AI, and RAG architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain high-quality Python applications and RESTful APIs using FastAPI with asynchronous programming, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Translate business requirements into measurable, scalable AI and data solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure AI cloud ecosystem including AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5-6+ years focused on AI, GenAI, LLMs, and cloud-native development.
- Strong expertise in Python programming, FastAPI, Pydantic, asynchronous programming, and streaming responses.
- Experience with production deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting of AI systems and strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, transformers, attention mechanisms, and AI model evaluation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure AI services including Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Blob Storage.

- Experienced in building Agentic AI applications with tool/function calling, structured outputs, workflow orchestration, memory and state management.
- Strong ability to translate complex business problems into scalable AI and data engineering solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated track record working in cloud environments (specifically Azure) delivering production-grade, secure, and observable AI applications at scale.
