About This Role
- Own design, build, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines on Databricks following Medallion Architecture for the OPTI AI Platform team.
- Develop dashboards, monitoring systems, and data quality checks to ensure reliable data delivery and SLA adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in India and the US to influence platform and data architecture decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a production environment.
- Strong experience with Databricks platform including Spark, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, data pipeline design patterns, and implementing data quality and monitoring.
- Employment eligibility to work in India without visa sponsorship; location: Pune, India with hybrid work model.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and optimizing data pipelines on Databricks using Medallion Architecture with incremental loading and error handling.
- Skilled in implementing automated testing, CI/CD for data pipelines, and observability using monitoring and alerting frameworks.
- Proficient working with Azure data services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse) and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Bicep) in international, distributed team settings.
