About This Role
- Accountable for quality assurance of assigned product areas including features, integrations, cloud behavior, and end-to-end customer workflows in a cloud-based SaaS platform.
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests with risk-based coverage and detailed test matrices.
- Investigate complex defects in distributed microservices environments using logs, monitoring, and observability tools, and ensure test coverage addresses critical risks.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–8+ years of hands-on software QA experience in functional, system, integration, and end-to-end testing of enterprise SaaS or cloud products.
- Proven experience testing distributed, microservices-based applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong skills in REST API testing, SQL/NoSQL backend validation, and debugging with monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex, distributed cloud environments involving microservices, APIs, event streams, and third-party integrations.
- Comfortable designing detailed test matrices covering multiple configurations, user roles, and data variations with a risk-based approach.
- Ability to independently handle loosely defined, complex testing problems, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple parallel testing activities under fast release cycles.
