About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Data Warehouse and Lakehouse platforms using Azure cloud technologies and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Build and optimize batch and incremental data pipelines with Python, PySpark, SQL, and integrate data securely with enterprise applications via REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, and databases.
- Lead architectural decisions, drive engineering excellence through CI/CD, automated testing, performance tuning, and provide technical mentorship to the team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouses, data pipelines, or distributed data processing solutions.
- Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms including experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and relational databases.
- Work Location: Hybrid role based in Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Azure Data Platform technologies including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, and Delta Lake.
- Skilled in data modeling, data governance, metadata management, and implementing secure, scalable data solutions in enterprise environments.
- Able to design and develop backend services, APIs, with familiarity in frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask, and knowledgeable about modern application architectures including microservices and event-driven systems.
