About This Role
- Own end-to-end technical delivery of banking solutions built on AWS, focusing on serverless engineering with AWS Lambda.
- Shape design decisions across Java and Python services, workflow automation, and data platforms including MongoDB and Amazon Redshift.
- Set engineering standards and guardrails to improve reliability, operational resilience, security, and consistent delivery in a regulated banking environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures focusing on production-grade solutions.
- Strong engineering skills in Java and Python for service development, API, testing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with MongoDB (data modelling, indexing, query optimization) and Amazon Redshift (data modelling, SQL tuning, access control).
- Experience designing workflow automation with Appian or equivalent platforms; CI/CD and automated testing in regulated environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technical leader capable of setting direction and standards for secure, resilient AWS-based banking services in regulated environments.
- Experienced in integrating engineering with governance, risk, security, and operational teams to meet control and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to improve delivery processes including incident management, operational readiness, and measurable prevention of recurring issues.
