About This Role
- Lead and manage a team of Lender Review Analysts to meet performance and quality targets.
- Assess and approve condominium projects for various US mortgage loan programs ensuring compliance with Agency and Investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, Jumbo).
- Ensure all project reviews adhere to regulatory requirements and company SLAs; communicate client decisions on ineligible projects.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in risk management, US Mortgage, or Underwriting, including 2+ years in leadership or supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of US mortgage underwriting including borrower income, assets, appraisal, and condominium project standards.
- Experience with Encompass or other paperless mortgage loan origination systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in underwriting US mortgages with deep familiarity of condominium project documentation and loan program parameters.
- Proven leadership capability managing teams and ensuring workflow, SLA adherence, and development of analysts.
- Operational focus on risk management within mortgage lending, able to synthesize complex regulatory requirements into actionable compliance reviews.
