About This Role
- Own automation of features for web applications and Web APIs including designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Create and manage detailed test plans and cases, coordinate testing activities, and track bugs through the debugging lifecycle with regression testing.
- Engage in continuous improvement by reviewing technical requirements, staying updated with testing tools and strategies, and applying comprehensive QA methodologies.
Minimum Requirements
- 9 to 12 years of testing experience with a minimum of 3+ years in Automation.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, SoapUI, Python and knowledge of Pycharm.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline; Master’s degree desirable.
- Onsite work from HPE office location; strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, SQL, scripting, Agile/Scrum development process.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in software quality assurance with solid expertise in automation scripting and testing life cycle management.
- Skilled at working within Agile/Scrum teams with the ability to prioritize and coordinate testing efforts efficiently.
- Familiar with tools and concepts such as Docker, containers, performance and security testing to support digital experience and automation products.
