- Develop automated test suites for ROS2 nodes, navigation stacks and fleet APIs, and perform extensive simulation and real-world testing including SIL/HIL and sensor QA.
- Lead and mentor robotics validation teams while integrating validation into CI/CD pipelines to monitor key performance indicators like defect escape rate and scenario coverage.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years in QA/Validation with at least 9 years specifically in robotics or Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python (automation) and C++ (ROS2 integration); hands-on experience with ROS2, Nav2 stack, simulation tools like Gazebo/Ignition and Isaac Sim.
- Expertise in sensors (LiDAR, depth cameras, IMU, odometry) and sensor calibration; familiarity with fleet management, traffic control systems, and VDA5050 protocol.
- Knowledge of mobile robot functional safety standards (ISO 3691-4, ISO 13849); experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and Docker-based test environments; Bachelor's or Master's in Robotics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced senior engineer comfortable leading complex validation projects covering robotics software, hardware and integrated platforms.
- Deep domain knowledge in robotics AMR systems including safety standards, multi-robot coordination, and sensor technologies relevant to warehouse and fleet operations.
- Skilled in developing and optimizing automated testing frameworks and integrating continuous validation pipelines to improve defect detection and ensure compliance.
