About This Role
- Own and execute QA activities including test strategy, planning, regression coverage, and defect investigation for complex cloud communications products (UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP).
- Design and perform manual and automated testing of telephony functionalities such as call flows, SIP signaling, dialplans, SIP trunks, and system integrations.
- Investigate complex defects using logs, SIP traces, packet captures, and Linux tools; collaborate cross-functionally to ensure software reliability and release readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on software QA experience with complex applications or platforms.
- Hands-on experience testing VoIP, PBX, UCaaS, CCaaS, IVR, or equivalent telephony/real-time communication systems.
- Practical skills in Linux application troubleshooting, network fundamentals, REST API and integration testing, and defect investigation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in telephony platforms, preferably with hands-on exposure to Asterisk or FreePBX and telephony diagnostic tools like Wireshark, SIP traces.
- Able to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues across application, network, database, and telephony layers.
- Skilled in developing test strategies and working with CI/CD pipelines for quality validation, with experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
