About This Role
- Manage infrastructure operations including hardware, networking, VM and server configurations, and storage for application teams.
- Automate routine infrastructure tasks such as patching, service restarts, and data volume refreshes using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Configure monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana and respond to system alerts and developer help requests.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of work experience in infrastructure administration.
- Proficiency in automation languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Ability to work during IST hours between 2 PM to 11 PM, including initial 4-6 weeks of onboarding requiring US Eastern time hours (~9:30 AM IST).
- Work Experience Required: 1-3 years in infrastructure administration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience collaborating directly with Development teams and acting as a liaison to higher-level operational teams such as data center ops and DBAs.
- Skilled in infrastructure automation and comfortable managing virtualized environments and storage volume deployments.
- Capable of multitasking and prioritizing dynamically in a cross-geography, flexible hours environment.
