About This Role
- Own and execute test strategy for platform including frontend, backend (Web, APIs, analytics, data pipelines).
- Design, build, maintain UI and API automation frameworks (Playwright/Selenium) and integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Plan and conduct regression, performance, load testing, data validation, and provide go/no-go release decisions.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of QA experience with at least 2 years in test automation.
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript-based E2E frameworks like Playwright or Cypress and experience designing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience with API test automation (Postman/Newman, REST Assured, Playwright API) and load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust).
- Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GoCD, GitHub Actions), version control (Git/GitHub), bug tracking (JIRA), and knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing cloud-based platforms across multiple environments and regions (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Skilled in automation framework design, API and UI test automation, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with quality metrics tracking.
- Capable of mentoring junior QA engineers and collaborating with developers on test code quality.
