About This Role
- Lead and grow the engineering team responsible for PLG initiatives, including hiring, mentoring, and fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
- Own technical roadmap and execution for free trials, AI-powered onboarding, developer offerings, and self-serve customer licenses, focusing on product adoption and conversion improvement.
- Drive AI integration, experimentation infrastructure, and operational reliability to optimize activation, conversion, retention, and scaling systems effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1 year in engineering team management.
- Strong technical proficiency in Java or TypeScript.
- Experience building product-led growth or self-serve products with understanding of activation, onboarding, conversion, and retention metrics.
- In-office presence required 3+ days per week at ThoughtSpot.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full-stack development and AI/ML production deployment, including LLM integrations and prompt engineering.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and GTM teams to influence strategy and priorities.
- Skilled in balancing speed, scalability, reliability while delivering high-quality software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
