About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for web applications to ensure quality and reduce delivery time.
- Execute a mix of manual (60%) and automation (40%) testing including functional, integration, exploratory, and system testing within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Prepare and manage test strategies, test plans, test cases, defect tracking, and create comprehensive test reports while analyzing potential testing risks.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of experience with expertise in automation testing of web applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java, C#, or Python and experience with Selenium, Specflow, BDD, or Protractor for automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Proficient in manual testing, version control tools (e.g., GIT), SQL querying, and testing web services (REST/SOAP).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments capable of executing in-sprint automation and managing both manual and automation testing effectively.
- Skilled in test strategy formulation and test management using tools like Jira, TFS, ALM with strong attention to detail and risk analysis.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) domain or similar bio/pharmaceutical testing environments is a plus.
