About This Role
- Own automation and manual testing activities for web and Windows-based applications, ensuring thorough test coverage and defect identification.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation frameworks using Java/C# and tools like Selenium, Specflow, Protractor to accelerate delivery cycles.
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, and traceability matrices while collaborating within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software, including testing of web services using REST and SOAP.
Minimum Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing of web applications.
- Strong expertise in automation testing tools (Selenium, Specflow, BDD, Protractor) and programming languages (Java, C#, Python).
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Proficient with version control tools (GIT), defect tracking (Jira, TFS/MTM), and test management tools (TFS/MTM, ALM).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in both manual and automation testing with a bias toward building automation frameworks and in-sprint automation.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and ability to derive test cases from complex requirements.
- Familiarity or prior experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and testing web services (REST, SOAP) is a plus.
