About This Role
- Own automation testing of web-based applications to ensure full product feature automation and reduce time-to-market.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Java or C# and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts aligned with Agile methodologies and produce comprehensive test reports.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing of web applications.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Specflow, BDD, Protractor, WebDriver IO.
- Experience in programming languages: Java and/or C#; hands-on SQL skills to write medium complexity queries.
- Mandatory knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum environments; version control using Git; experience with test and defect management tools like Jira, TFS/MTM.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in in-sprint automation and advanced testing types including functional, integration, exploratory, and system testing.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into detailed test artifacts and analyze risk.
- Experience working with web service testing (REST, SOAP) and comfortable with JSON, XML formats.
