About This Role
- Own design, development, and maintenance of scalable automated test suites for API and performance testing using Python and automation frameworks (Robot Framework, PyTest, Playwright).
- Lead and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance testing with scripting and analysis to identify bottlenecks across APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Integrate automated functional and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve system reliability and quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation including API automation and performance testing.
- Proficient in Python or Java programming with experience in automation frameworks like Robot Framework, PyTest, or Playwright.
- Strong experience in performance/load testing using tools such as Locust, Apache JMeter, or k6, with knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, authentication, and performance metrics.
- Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru and attend regular meetings with US-based teams during evening hours in India.

- Experienced in building or significantly enhancing automation frameworks from scratch and integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.
- Skilled in performance test scripting, analysis, and root cause investigation involving APIs, microservices, databases, and distributed systems.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with global teams and mentoring junior engineers, with a strong emphasis on test strategy, troubleshooting, and quality reporting.
