About This Role
- Own delivery of Kubernetes network Controller, product licensing workflows, and AI-native software for hybrid multi-cloud/on-prem Kubernetes and public cloud platforms.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to build high-scale, high-performance cloud-native networking and security software systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership on roadmap, strategy, cross-team dependencies, quality commitments, and hiring needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8 years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR 6 years with a master’s degree, OR PhD with 3 years experience, OR equivalent.
- At least 1 year prior experience managing or leading a software engineering team preferred.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes native micro-services, Kubernetes Controllers, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- Familiarity with software engineering practices including CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and Agile methodology.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading complex software development with successful customer delivery especially in cloud-native networking or AI-native platforms.
- Technically strong with hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, gRPC, protobufs, helm, and container platforms.
- Demonstrates strong collaboration across teams and leadership with a focus on quality, operational excellence, and team development.
