About This Role
- Lead software development for Cisco Silicon One NPU for control plane and data plane, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, support software adoption, and develop custom software solutions improving user experience.
- Work closely with architecture, hardware, and software teams to deepen hardware understanding and influence future ASIC design.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's in EE/CS with 8+ years experience or Master's in EE/CS with 6+ years experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience with networking protocols such as L2/L3, MPLS, BGP, OSPF.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills using tools like GDB, PDB; experience with algorithms and data structures.

- Experienced technical leader with a track record leading complex networking software systems design and development.
- Deep domain expertise in networking control and routing planes, building scalable, redundant systems.
- Ability to design clean APIs and software layers; mentors teams and takes full ownership of delivery.
