About This Role
- Design and implement scalable Java/Spring Boot backend microservices and REST APIs with secure authentication, authorization, logging, and error handling.
- Develop and integrate relational and NoSQL databases, AWS cloud services, and open-source components for hybrid cloud environments.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, contract, and API tests; debug application, database, network, and performance issues; participate in design/code reviews, CI/CD, and production support.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–10 years of backend development experience.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot microservices development skills with REST APIs knowledge.
- Experience with SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, AWS services, Docker/container fundamentals, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM preferred but not strictly stated; regulatory healthcare or medical-device development experience required for senior roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud-native and hybrid cloud development using AWS, with containerization and infrastructure-as-code familiarity.
- Skilled in secure engineering practices including identity & access management, encryption, and DevSecOps.
- Domain experience in regulated healthcare or medical device software with knowledge of patient-data privacy, healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM), and real-time clinical data systems.
