About This Role
- Develop and debug embedded systems software on Linux-based platforms focused on networking solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and secure coding compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design and product management to deliver customer-centric solutions and improve software development processes using agile methodologies.
- Perform testing for scale, reliability, and performance within code, applying expertise in concurrent programming, debugging tools, and software architecture in sophisticated networking environments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
- 9-12 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in C/C++ programming, Linux development, concurrent programming, multithreading, synchronization, IPC/RPC mechanisms.
- Proven skills in debugging with tools like GDB, Valgrind, core dumps, packet captures, Wireshark/tcpdump; knowledge of software architecture and system design.

- Experienced in embedded systems development targeting resource-constrained, real-time networking hardware platforms.
- Comfortable working within agile teams collaborating with design and product management for customer-driven solutions.
- Has deep knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., DWDM, OTN, Ethernet) and a background in optimizing performance and scalability in complex, high-scale networking or cloud environments.
