About This Role
- Own development and delivery of high-quality software for Cisco Network Convergence System (NCS) 1000 family and Next GEN products targeting AI market.
- Lead and own sub-modules within software projects, demonstrating accountability, ownership, and mentorship.
- Collaborate across teams to address complex technical challenges focused on performance, scalability, and innovation.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and Python scripting.
- Degree: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MS or MCA or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile methodology and version control tools; strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in system-level programming with knowledge of operating systems, networking concepts, and kernel/user space development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead software sub-modules and mentor junior team members with ownership mindset.
- Familiarity with device drivers, BSPs, and domain exposure to OTN products or SONIC development is a plus.
