About This Role
- Own, develop, implement, and operate Allstate's cloud application development and hosting platforms on Azure and AWS.
- Develop, build, administer, and deploy self-service tools enabling cloud-native app development, including maintaining and enhancing Terraform codebase.
- Provide technical leadership in GenAI solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP, support client engagements, and coach junior team members while championing engineering practices like paired programming and test-driven development.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience preferred.
- Experience with Azure Application and AI services and Terraform development is required.
- Knowledge or experience with Azure, AWS (including AWS Bedrock preferred), and Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with consuming large language model (LLM) and foundational model APIs, and skills with Python programming language.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced engineer comfortable working in paired programming teams and performing both operational tasks and new solution engineering.
- Strong expertise in GenAI on cloud platforms with ability to engage clients and drive technical solutions in AI and cloud integration.
- Capable of coaching junior members and leading adoption of automation and infrastructure as code frameworks like Terraform.
