About This Role
- Own automation testing of web-based applications including building and maintaining automation frameworks using Java/C#.
- Lead in-sprint automation efforts to reduce time from idea to live business features.
- Prepare and review test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts ensuring comprehensive test coverage and quality reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in automation testing with web-based applications.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Specflow, BDD, Protractor, WebDriver IO with programming in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., GIT), CI/CD pipeline automation, manual testing, and defect tracking tools like Jira or TFS.
- Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and ability to prepare test documentation including test strategy and requirement traceability matrix.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working on complex enterprise or life sciences/pharmaceutical applications, preferably with LIMS systems.
- Demonstrated capability to translate complex requirements into detailed automated test cases and execute various testing types including functional, integration, exploratory, and system testing.
- Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams with strong collaboration, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving in a global environment.
