About This Role
- Take ownership of automation and performance testing for assigned product areas, including building and maintaining automated test suites.
- Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests to evaluate and analyse application behaviour and bottlenecks.
- Integrate automation and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve performance issues.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation, including API automation.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java; experience with automation frameworks like Robot Framework, PyTest, or Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as Locust, Apache JMeter, or k6, and strong practical experience in performance and load testing.
- Willingness and availability to attend regular meetings with US-based counterparts during evening hours in India; ability to work onsite in Bengaluru.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and enhancing automation frameworks from scratch with emphasis on scalable, maintainable test code.
- Skilled in performance testing and analysis involving REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-hosted applications.
- Comfortable working independently on complex debugging and delivering actionable insights, as well as collaborating across time zones with US-based teams.
