About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated API test frameworks using Rest Assured and/or Karate.
- Create and execute API test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of RESTful APIs.
- Integrate automated API test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Software Testing focusing on API Automation Testing.
- Hands-on expertise with Rest Assured and/or Karate Framework and Postman for API testing and automation.
- Proficiency in Java programming and experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile development environments with exposure to sprint planning and Agile ceremonies.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), JSON, XML, and database validation using SQL.
- Analytical tester skilled in troubleshooting and defect analysis, with ability to collaborate effectively with developers and business analysts.
