About This Role
- Develop, write, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript based on a defined Test Strategy.
- Perform integration testing of developed components with other product parts and maintain both manual and automated test cases execution and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and project quality processes throughout testing activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in CSE, EEE, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with Selenium and Playwright automation testing, including hands-on Playwright automation framework development.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming, OOPS concepts, and hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Experience located in Chennai or willing to work from Chennai; API Testing experience is a plus but not strictly mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing large scale systems with strong ability to define black box test cases based on use cases.
- Capable of coordinating and communicating effectively with globally distributed teams.
- Additional experience with other automation tools like Selenium and Cypress and software development background will enhance candidacy.
