About This Role
- Lead design, implementation, and governance of internal controls across strategic enterprise initiatives to strengthen financial reporting control environment.
- Manage multiple global projects ensuring SOX compliance, risk resolution, scope management, and milestone achievement.
- Partner with Business, Finance, and Technology to embed and automate controls across system development lifecycle while driving continuous process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting required.
- 5+ years auditing experience in Big 4, regional public accounting firm, or Fortune 500 company including Accounting or Internal Audit for a global public company.
- Proven leadership experience in SOX compliance, business process controls, and risk management.
- Work location: Bangalore/Chennai office with office onsite requirement and shift hours roughly 2:00 PM to 2:30 AM IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing cross-functional global projects within SOX and financial controls environment.
- Strong background blending accounting, IT compliance, process improvements, and modern technology like Agile and Cloud.
- Capable of operating in complex multi-stakeholder environments, communicating complex concepts clearly with data visualization, and driving governance and control optimization.
