About This Role
- Manage end-to-end preparation and review of financial statements, portfolio schedules, and mandatory regulatory reporting for investment company clients within tight deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to controls, procedures, and regulatory filings while proactively managing business-level risk and coordinating across global teams including offshoring partners.
- Lead staff through review processes, coaching, performance management, and resolving client or auditor queries, driving improvements including system automation usage.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ to 12+ years of experience in Mutual Fund/Hedge Fund Financial Reporting, accounting or related finance field, including managing staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Economics with specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred; CA/CPA/ACCA or similar professional qualification preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and Mutual Fund structures including standalone funds, master-feeder funds, 40 Act funds is mandatory.
- Work shifts with reasonable overlap across US, APAC, and EMEA time zones; experience coordinating global offshoring partners.

- Experienced in managing complex financial reporting processes in mutual fund or hedge fund environments with strong regulatory and audit exposure.
- Demonstrates leadership in team management, risk mitigation, and process control in a high volume, fast-paced setting.
- Proficient with financial automation tools (e.g., FundSuite, MCH, Macros) and capable of driving system enhancements and operational improvements.
