About This Role
- Lead design, development, and delivery of AI-driven, scalable data engineering solutions for Global Drug Safety data products aligned to the Drug Safety roadmap.
- Drive automation and process optimization to replace manual workflows, improving efficiency and data quality across safety data platforms.
- Shape future Drug Safety and data platforms utilizing modern AI-native technologies (e.g., RAG, Vector Databases, LangChain) within cloud environments like Azure and Snowflake.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, AI/ML, and automation within regulated industries.
- Proficiency in Python programming; experience with PySpark and FastAPI is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (Azure, Snowflake) including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps practices like CI/CD and version control.
- Familiarity with Drug Safety systems (Argus, Aris-G, Veeva) and data visualization tools like Power BI.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically expert in building AI-native enterprise data platforms with advanced automation and machine learning capabilities applied to regulated healthcare data.
- Experienced in translating complex product requirements into scalable, compliant technical solutions supporting regulatory needs in pharmaceutical R&D.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, engineers, data scientists, and senior leaders to deliver impactful business outcomes aligned with strategic roadmaps.
