About This Role
- Own and prioritise the product backlog and roadmap for GSK's network segmentation platform, linking backlog items to GSK D&T strategy and domain OKRs with clear outcome metrics.
- Work closely with engineering daily to refine, plan, and accept work increments based on agreed criteria and reliability standards.
- Measure adoption, value delivered, and delivery flow metrics to steer the product roadmap and manage stakeholder demand including supplier components.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in product ownership or product management, including 2+ years owning a backlog in a platform or infrastructure context.
- Degree in technology, engineering, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with lean or agile backlog management, prioritisation by value and risk, and delivering outcomes measured by OKRs and adoption metrics.
- Practical experience with AI tooling for backlog refinement and requirement drafting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced product owner in platform/infrastructure contexts with deep knowledge of backlog prioritisation based on strategic value rather than stakeholder seniority.
- Strong technical literacy to challenge engineering estimates and collaborate with architecture and reliability teams on standards and SLOs.
- Data-driven decision-maker skilled at translating business needs into clear engineering requirements and managing delivery flow metrics and stakeholder expectations.
