Job description
Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own and prioritise the backlog and roadmap for GSK's perimeter security product, linking each item to strategy and measuring adoption and outcomes.
- Work daily with engineering to deliver and accept increments, balancing new capability against reliability standards.
- Manage stakeholder demand, supplier components, and align product decisions with platform strategy, architecture, and reliability teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years overall work experience with at least 5 years in product ownership or management, including 2+ years managing a platform or infrastructure backlog.
- Degree in technology, engineering, business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience delivering perimeter security capabilities and managing agile backlog prioritisation and acceptance.
- Familiarity with agile/lean backlog management, OKRs, adoption & flow metrics, and AI tooling for backlog refinement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing and prioritising platform/infrastructure product backlogs with decisiveness based on value and risk.
- Comfortable using data and metrics (OKRs, adoption, flow metrics) to guide product roadmap and delivery rather than stakeholder pressure.
- Technically literate to effectively collaborate with engineering, architecture, and reliability teams on trade-offs and standards compliance.
