About This Role
- Lead day-to-day operations and incident management for UK Mobile Voice Core platforms ensuring high availability and service continuity.
- Own operational procedures, change governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across Voice Core domains.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Deployment, and vendor teams to enhance platform resilience, support technology transitions, and implement automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 12-18+ years of telecommunications industry experience.
- 5-10+ years of leadership experience managing technical or operational teams.
- Strong knowledge of Mobile Core networks, voice services, VNF/CNF architectures, virtualisation, and cloud-based telecom environments.
- University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT or equivalent professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading critical telecom operational teams focused on high-availability environments and incident resolution.
- Skilled at managing complex change, operational governance, and continuous service improvement in Voice Core and virtualised network domains.
- Capable of strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams including Cloud, Data Core, and Engineering in a multinational telecom context.
