About This Role
- Own, develop, implement, and operate Allstate's cloud application development and hosting platforms.
- Develop and deploy self-service tools enabling developers to build, deploy, and operate cloud native applications.
- Provide expertise in GenAI on Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms; deliver demos, proof-of-concepts, and collaborate with product management to drive AI product adoption.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience preferred.
- Experience with Azure application and AI services; knowledge of AWS Bedrock and Vertex AI preferred.
- Strong skills in Terraform development and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with consuming large language model (LLM) and foundational model APIs; knowledge of prompt engineering and AI open-source ecosystem.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full stack platform engineering with cloud-native application platforms focus, especially on Azure and AWS.
- Skilled in generative AI technologies and integration with cloud platforms, able to act as trusted advisor on AI accelerators and cloud strategy.
- Practices modern engineering methods including paired programming, TDD, continuous delivery, and coaching junior engineers.
