About This Role
- Design, build, and deploy scalable, reliable software solutions within Akamai's infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, implement features, conduct unit testing, and maintain high software quality.
- Enhance existing applications, resolve complex technical problems, and optimize distributed system performance using various programming languages.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Proficient in Java, Spring, JavaScript, and databases; experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, or ReactJS required.
- Exposure to building LLM-powered applications and AI agents, and knowledge of additional web programming languages like Python, Perl, or PHP.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in full software development lifecycle in an agile environment, including design, testing, and deployment of enterprise-grade distributed systems.
- Comfortable working with diverse programming languages and technologies, including AI/ML integration and modern front-end frameworks.
- Able to independently learn and analyze emerging technologies, integrating them effectively to enhance product offerings.
