About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs within enterprise full-stack applications.
- Own backend architecture decisions including API design, data access, and integration with various systems.
- Lead cloud-native deployments, automate CI/CD pipelines, enforce high code quality, and mentor junior developers.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years professional experience, including 7+ years Java backend development at enterprise scale.
- 5+ years experience with Spring Boot/Spring MVC in production environments.
- Strong expertise in Java 21+, Spring ecosystem, database optimization, microservices, and DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in highly regulated enterprise environments, preferably banking or financial services.
- Strong backend architecture ownership with ability to collaborate effectively across frontend, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Proficient in integrating AI-assisted development in daily workflow and balancing regulatory compliance with rapid delivery.
