About This Role
- Design, implement, and own well-scoped big data features and system components end to end at petabyte scale.
- Write production-quality code with minimal guidance including tests, documentation, and observability; debug and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Release Management, Research, Operations and external stakeholders to deliver on product and data platform requirements using AWS and Snowflake.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 4 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years experience with Python, Java, or Scala in Linux environment.
- 3+ years experience with Big Data Technologies such as AWS EMR, Spark, Hadoop, and strong SQL skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and maintaining big data platforms and data pipelines at scale with AWS and Snowflake.
- Capable of independently owning feature delivery end to end and contributing to technical design discussions.
- Proficient in using AI development tools efficiently throughout the software development lifecycle with good judgment.
