Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for GSK's network capabilities (DNS, DHCP, IP address management) by value, risk, and reliability, ensuring alignment with strategic OKRs.
- Translate consumer business needs into actionable engineering requirements and manage daily refinement, planning, and acceptance of work increments.
- Measure product adoption, reliability, and delivery metrics; manage stakeholder demand and supplier components within the product to maximize platform value and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 15 years overall experience with at least 5 years in product ownership or management, including 2+ years owning a backlog in platform/infrastructure context.
- Degree in technology, engineering, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated experience with lean/agile backlog management, prioritization by value and risk, and use of OKRs and adoption metrics.
- Experience delivering network capabilities as a Product Owner and exposure to AI tooling for backlog refinement and requirement drafting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in platform or infrastructure product ownership with a strong focus on measurable outcomes over output and managing backlog sequencing confidently based on value.
- Technically literate to challenge engineering estimates and align with architecture and reliability standards collaboratively.
- Data-driven decision maker comfortable using flow and adoption metrics to steer delivery and manage stakeholder expectations through defensible prioritization.
