About This Role
- Lead and direct the testing team to create and execute test scripts and quality metrics for software in smart building HVAC systems.
- Establish formal QA processes including quality gates and exit criteria to ensure testing meets customer expectations for functionality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with Software Development Teams and HVAC Subject Matter Experts to optimize QA efforts and improve code quality.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3 years progressive experience can substitute each year of education).
- At least 8 years of IT Testing experience in a leadership role.
- Minimum 4 years experience working in Agile environments, preferably with Playwright & TypeScript within the SAFe framework.
- Proficiency in C#, test automation tools and frameworks, with demonstrable experience in creating test plans, quality metrics reporting, and SDLC mastery.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience leading QA teams using a servant leadership approach in complex testing environments of large enterprises.
- Strong background in Agile/SAFe frameworks with hands-on automation and root cause analysis expertise (e.g., 8D process).
- Ability to present quality metrics and testing outcomes confidently to senior management and drive quality improvements actively.
